Professional Grooming

Raven Rooks has 20 plus years experience in the pet industry, and is excited to join the grooming team at Mellisas’s pet depot. Raven’s experience includes.  Professional handler for AKC dog shows for obedience as well as conformation. Her breed is the Afghan hound. Her Afghan hound “Atras Arobicize” was ranked #18 in the country in the obedience ring. Raven taught obedience classes both public and private. While working with the Montgomery dog obedience club she taught the Novice ll classes. . Novice ll class teaches obedience training for competing in AKC obedience dog shows. In order to graduate from that class you had to earn an AKC obedience title on your dog.  While teaching this class Raven had the most titled graduates for Novice II in the entire history of Montgomery Obedience Club. Raven worked as the head surgery technician at an animal hospital as well as helping clients solve behavioral problems with their pets. Raven has also owned her own grooming business for over 15 years  “ Westminster Groomers “ Westminster Groomers provided breed specific grooming for AKC dog shows and pet grooming.  Her goal is to provide a safe, stress free, loving enviroment for the pets she grooms while helping them to feel clean and beautiful again! Donna is a Certified Groomer who recieved her certification through Animal Behavioral College.  She is a gentle and compasionate person who will treat your special puppy or kitty with Love and Kindness.
